How do I start the build process?

Submit a build application on our website. Once approved, you get private access to the boat configurator where you spec every option with real pricing. Our team then walks you through the final build scope and locks in your slot.

What models does Canyon Bay offer?

We build three models: the 28H (our flagship hybrid offshore/bay boat), the 24B (a versatile bay boat), and the 18F (a nimble flats skiff). Each is fully custom and built from scratch to the owner's exact specifications.

What materials are used in the build?

Every Canyon Bay uses hand-laid Kevlar below the waterline and carbon fiber above the sheer. There is zero wood anywhere in the hull, transom, stringers, or deck. The result is a lighter, stronger boat with nothing to rot.

How long does a build take?

Build times depend on the model and level of customization. We build one boat at a time to maintain quality, so slots are limited. Contact our sales team for current timelines and availability.

How customizable is each boat?

Fully. You choose the engine package, electronics, tower, seating layout, color, and every rigging detail. The configurator lets you build it out visually with real-time pricing before you commit.

Can I visit the facility during my build?

Absolutely. Owners are welcome to visit Perry Composite Manufacturing in Perry, Florida to see their boat being built. Many owners come for a walkthrough before or during the build process.

Why Kevlar and carbon fiber instead of fiberglass?

Kevlar absorbs impact by flexing and returning to shape rather than cracking. Carbon fiber cuts weight without cutting strength. Together they produce a hull that's lighter, tougher, and more fuel-efficient than traditional fiberglass construction.

What makes Canyon Bay different from production boats?

Every Canyon Bay is built one at a time by the same hands, with zero wood and advanced composite materials. No two boats are the same. You're getting a custom-built, owner-spec'd boat — not something pulled off a production line.
